Role overview
As Commercial support representative, you will play a key role in supporting the sales team and ensuring the smooth handling of all commercial and administrative processes. You will be responsible for preparing quotations and contracts, managing transport-related documentation (especially for waste and biomass streams), and maintaining excellent communication with clients and partners. This position offers the opportunity to work in a small, dedicated team where ownership, accuracy, and initiative are valued.
Key responsibilities
- Support the sales team with drafting quotations, contracts, and client follow-ups.
- Maintain accurate customer data and commercial records in internal systems.
- Manage transport and waste documentation, in close coordination with the Logistics Coordinator, in line with legal and company procedures.
- Ensure administrative accuracy and system integrity using sector-specific software.
- Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth contract execution and logistics flow.
- Proactively resolve issues and maintain clear communication across all stakeholders.
- Identify and follow up on new business opportunities in the waste, recyclables, and biomass markets.
- Prepare market analyses and sales reports to support commercial decision-making.
Qualifications & Skills
- HBO work and thinking level, preferably with a background in Commerce, Logistics, or Business Administration.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a comparable commercial or administrative role.
- Familiarity with the waste/biomass sector and related documentation is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive, customer-focused mindset.
- Fluent in Dutch and English; German and/or French is a strong advantage.
- Comfortable working with sector-specific software and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
