Komercon Group, with HQ in Breda, the Netherlands creates sustainable business opportunities through trading waste and biomass commodities to offtake clients around the world. Our primary focus to date has been on trading existing sustainable commodities and we are also starting to explore the potential for new projects. Within the unit “Assets and services” we review opportunities to valorise currently under-utilised waste and biomass raw materials and residues as well as digital solutions that support sustainability, traceability and compliance.
We are now looking for a proactive and motivated intern to join our team with a focus on marketing and communications!
- 3-6 months full-time internship, start date from February 2026 onwards
- We work from our office in Breda would love you to join us here in person at least three days a week
- We do business in English, but the Netherlands is our core market so Dutch speakers are also welcome
Your work will cover a wide variety of activities, including and not limited to:
- Creation of a marketing and communications plan
- Development of marketing materials, together with external content creators
- Market and competitor analysis to support various projects and investment proposals
- Supporting an existing digital solution project during an exciting development phase
If you are:
- Passionate about making an environmental, sustainability and social impact, with an interest in new technology & business model innovation
- Independent and a self-starter, capable of taking on projects with limited supervision
- Energised by a collaborative, diverse start-up culture with an eagerness to learn
- Currently studying at an EU-registered university, preferably in the last year Master’s with a preference for relevant degrees (e.g. business, finance, economics, engineering). We are also open to discuss alternative education routes if you’ve got a strong rationale!
- Fluent in English, Dutch is preferred but not required
