Komercon is pleased to announce the appointment of Rebecca Groen as Interim Chief Executive Officer, effective 1 December 2025. Rebecca brings extensive leadership experience, strategic insight, and a deep understanding of international bio-based and circular value chains, qualities that make her exceptionally well-suited to guide Komercon through its next phase of growth.
This appointment comes at an important moment for the company. Our current CEO, John Bouterse, will temporarily step back from day-to-day responsibilities due to health reasons. While John will remain closely involved in the background, the transition ensures continuity, stability, and sustained momentum in all ongoing activities.
Komercon had already been in constructive discussions with Rebecca prior to this development. Her arrival now offers even greater confidence that the company’s ambitions, strategy, and operational quality will continue at the same pace and strength as before. Rebecca will work closely with the management team, partners, and clients to further build Komercon’s international position in the bio-based and circular economy.
